Cancun
Palace Review
|
Are you interested in staying at a resort that has aquamarine colored water touching its white sandy beach? If yes, then you can head to the many resorts that offer a stunning view of the Mexican Caribbean beach. But there are very few resorts that offer its guest a view of the ocean as well as a lagoon. And Cancun Palace is one of them.
Cancun Palace is situated in the heart of the island's main shopping area and it barely takes 20 minutes to reach the resort from the Cancun International Airport. This U-Shaped resort houses a 9-story building with over 600 rooms that allow almost all the guests to have a room that has an ocean view from a private balcony. The close proximity of the resort to downtown Cancun makes sure that you are also able to get a taste of the real Cancun.
The rooms offer amenities such as a double Jacuzzi, iron, coffee maker, etc. If you want to catch the latest movie blockbusters then you can tune into your Flat LCD TV that displays major satellite channels. In addition, each room is fitted with a small liquor cabinet that is regularly stocked with scotch, rum, brandy and tequila. All rooms offer amenities such as liquor dispenser, coffee maker, digital safe, and turn down services. If you are carrying a laptop with you Cancun Palace provides complimentary wireless internet. But what if you didn't bring your laptop? That isn't a problem either as you can get an access to a computer at the business center.
Cancun Palace has a theater, as well as one outdoor pool and two swim up bars. In addition, there is a separate kiddie pool at the Kids Club. If your young one wants to swim with you, then they can venture into the outdoor pool for it also has a section for kids. There is also a tennis court and a separate place for playing table games.
If you want to discover Cancun in detail, then you can hop into the various tours that are organized regularly. The tours include Chichen Itza, Tulum Paradise, Tulum Xpu-Ha, Isla Mujeres, Coba, Ek-Balam/Valladolid, Wet’nWild and Paradise Snorkeling.
The resort has five specialty restaurants, each serving a particular type of cuisine. If you want to have international cuisines, then you can head for El Mercado. Frida offers delectable Mexican dishes. Miyako and Leonardo, which serve Oriental and Italian cuisines are probably the best of the lot. When you head for Leonardo, do not forget to try out their The Fusion soup, Ceasar salad and saltimbocca. On the other hand, Miyako is famous for its sushi and its Hibachi dinner. The poolside snack bars are good option for burgers, ice- creams and dogs.
