Editorial Review

The CasaMagna Marriott is part of the Marriott hotel chain.  Situated on a beautiful stretch of beach, the hotel tries to capture the feel of a Mediterranean-style resort.  The resort has beautiful views of the ocean and Nichpute Lagoon and is only 20 minutes from the airport.

The rooms come with amenities such as a private balcony, flat screen TV with cable channels, CD player etc.  Many guests are also impressed by the marble and stone flooring that is used in all the rooms.  None of the suites in CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort come equipped with a fridge, and if you require one then you will have to pay an additional charge.  CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort provides wireless internet access points in the suites, pools and restaurants.  So, wherever you go, you can log onto the net.

If water sports excite you, then you can try out kayaking, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling.  The resort contracts with an independent vendor who organizes these trips. You can also spend your time in the pool located on the resort.  The pool is large, clean and heated.  However, since it is the only pool there, it does tend to get crowded.  Other activities include bowling, horseback riding, volleyball etc.  Also, the trip may be incomplete unless you take a stroll down the renowned white-sandy beach.

Couples with young kids can take advantage of the child care services offered by the resort.

If your taste buds are yearning for some fresh seafood, you can head for the La Isla restaurant.  You can also try out the La Capilla Argentina Steakhouse.  Japanese and Oriental cuisine is offered at Mikado's Japanese & Thai Cuisine. You can also try out the Champions Restaurant Sports Bar and the Las Ventanas Lobby Bar.

You can pick from 418 rooms and 34 suites that are on offer.  If you are on a honeymoon, try the Caribbean suites.  However, if you are interested in getting ocean and lagoon views, then Magna Suites will prove to be the best option.
