Excellence Riviera Cancun is is an Adults only beachfront resort has 446 suites in a complex that combines both Mexican and Caribbean architecture.  Guests can enjoy one of the best stretches of white sand beach, and a magnificent coral reef.  Many eco-tour attractions are close by.  The Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adult-only resort.

Situated just 25 minutes from the Cancun International Airport, the resort is surrounded by beaches, a coral reef, and bordered by dense palm trees.  All the rooms have been fitted with standard amenities such as AC, satellite televisions, CD/DVD players, a mini bar that is stocked with juices, beer, water and soft drinks.  Other amenities include jetted whirlpool bathtub.  If you want to log onto the web you can do this from the comfort of your suite as there is an internet data port present in every room.  All most all the rooms offer either ocean view or pool view. There are 446 rooms and each room has at least one Jacuzzi.

The management of Excellence Riviera Cancun has ensured that not even a single dull moment finds its way into the lives of their patrons during their stay.  There are lots of activities and you can have your pick from aerobics, poker, water polo, jenga etc.  The resort has six different swimming pools and depending upon your mood, you can choose to visit any one of them.  For instance, if you want to enjoy tranquil moments, then the spa pool will be the best bet.  However, if you are game for some fun and frolic, you can always choose the Blue Bar pool.  Those who love to work out can try the step machines, treadmills and lifecycles at the resort’s gym and fitness center.

If you enjoy indulging in non-motorized water sports, then you can go for snorkeling, kayaking, sailing and windsurfing at no extra cost.  You can also take a leisurely stroll down the beach.  On the entertainment front, the resort offers live shows and night entertainment.

If you are interested in trying out some authentic Mexican cuisine, then you can head for Agave.  Most visitors state that the fajitas and the chicken enchiladas should not be missed.  On the other hand, if you are craving pizza, , then try the ones made at Oregano.  They are also well known for their chicken burritos.  Many prefer having their breakfast at the Barcelono.  Beside their scrumptious breakfasts, you can also look forward to fruit juices, mimosas and Bloody Marys.  The resort also features a Lobster House and the Asian restaurant.  Do remember to visit the Kafe bar as it has some of the finest Mayan coffee.  Those who have stayed at Excellence Riviera Cancun also recommend sipping the Almond martini and Excellence martini.

The SPA Garden can be labeled as the best feature of Excellence Riviera Cancun.  Located amidst tropical garden, the spa offers services like massage, hydro massage, Vichy and Scottish Showers etc.  Most visitors recommend trying out the milk bath treatment and the water bath circuit.
