Editorial Review

Small in size, simple in nature, yet with an elegant personality is how one can describe the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (formerly Pueblo Bonito Blanco) which is part of the Pueblo Bonito hotel chain.  It is located beachfront on the famed Playa El Medano, and provides incredible views of Land's End and the Sea of Cortez.  The resort was designed in a Mediterranean themed architecture and features 148 suites.  Downtown Cabo San Lucas is just footsteps away.  Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos offers an easy access to tourist areas without sacrificing the privacy of its guests.  However, it does take 45 minutes to reach the airport.  Guests who have stayed at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos say that the resort is mainly for families or those who would like to have a laid-back kind of a resort.  So, if you are a spring-breaker this won't be the place for you.

Most visitors are impressed by the outer façade of the resort.  The entire structure is steeped in a Mediterranean architectural style and the same style is lent to the rooms.  The rooms are large, clean, and well maintained.  You can spot standard amenities in the rooms such as AC, satellite TVs, coffee maker, telephone, hair dryer etc.  The mini-fridge is stocked with drinks and bottled water.  However, you will have to pay extra charges for using the bottled water.  The resort does not provide an Internet connection in individual rooms.  However, if you want to access the web, you can do it from the lobby area as it provides wi-fi Internet connectivity.

Since downtown Los Cobos is just minutes away from the resort, one can easily get there and shop for mementos and memorabilia.  And when you are not shopping, you can always have a walk across the El Médano beach.  The beach is scarce of any seaweed or rocks, and the waves are not too strong and this makes the El Médano beach a perfect place to swim.  And if you like the thought of lazing in the sun, then you can choose to spend time in the cabanas dotting the beach area.

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos also has a swimming pool, which is small but not crowded.  In addition, the staff also organizes various pool activities.  Guests say that the pool temperature is a bit on the warmer and it does not have a swim-up bar or hot tubs.

The resort has a gym that can be used for your work out sessions.  You can also take part in the various water sport activities such as parasailing, ATV tours, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and jet skiing.  By the way, during your stay at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos, don't miss out on the pottery painting sessions.

Baby-sitting services, as well as childcare facilities, are provided at the resort.

For food, Mexican cuisine and international dishes are served at Las Palomas.  Ask to try the green chilequelas.  If you love seafood, then you can try Cilantro's.

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos offers only 148 suites.  So, if you are looking for an intimate atmosphere, then this resort might be a good choice.  The suites are divided into Junior and Luxury suites.  Luxury suites offer a private balcony that gives you a view of the ocean. They also have a separate dining area.  Since, Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos is a beachfront resort, it offers a good view of the Sea of Cortez.

Best Feature: Each room in Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos has a kitchenette. Most guests love this idea of a kitchenette as it allows them to purchase food items and drinks from downtown Cabo San Lucas and store them in the fridge or prepare snacks. You can locate mini refrigerator, cook top, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and blender in the kitchenette. The resort also provides dishes and other utensils for daily use.
