Pueblo Bonito Rose Review
|
The Pueblo Bonito Rose is part of the Pueblo Bonito hotel chain, offering 260 suites in a six storey building. Situated on 50 acres of beachfront property, it is designed in a classic Mediterranean style. The property looks out onto the Sea of Cortez and a view of the Land’s End Arch. It is a short 15 minute walk from Cabo, and only 30 minutes from the Airport. Pueblo Bonito Rose also offers easy access to nightclubs and pubs such as Tobascos, The Office and the Mango Deck lie in close proximity to the resort. Although the resort offers the right kind of atmosphere for families with small kids, it is also perfect for couples and singles who are interested in a place that offers a combination of fun and a laid-back attitude without the rowdiness associated with spring-break resorts.
The classic Mediterranean architectural style of the building is replicated in the lobby as well as the guest suites. The suites are neat, clean and spacious. In addition, you may also find your bed filled with small animals shapes that are created from towels. The room has all the standard amenities such as AC, satellite television, coffee maker and an alarm clock that also doubles up as a radio player. You can also locate a fridge, which also has a small freezer. You can also locate a safe, however it small and may not be able to store your laptops or similar size items. If you are interested in logging onto the internet, then you can do the same from the comforts of your room. However, the resort charges extra for accessing the Internet from your suite. If you find it okay to surf the net from a public area, then you can use the free wi-fi facility offered in the café.
Pueblo Bonito Rose is a beachfront resort and most visitors say that the beach is suitable for swimming for the most of the day. You can also relax in the various cabanas that line the beach in front of the resort. However, make sure that you reserve a seat for yourself as early as possible. On the beach, the staff string up ropes that line the area making it off-limits to vendors. If you are interested in working out even during your vacation, then you can try out the fitness center where you can use weights and other fitness equipment. The resort also organises fitness classes for its guests, as well as indulge in tennis during your stay. The resort also has a special pool for children where activities such as in-pool basket ball hoop and volleyball are organised. Children can also play ping-pong on one of the many ping-pong tables that are found near the kid’s swimming pool.
If you want to try some great food, then head to Mare Nostrum. Guests recommend the smoothies, California Cheese steak sandwich and tortilla soup. You can also opt for the Fellini's Ristorante and try out pizzas, pastas, and seafood. Most visitors claim that the food is good and not too pricey.
Pueblo Bonito Rose offers junior and luxury suites. The suites offer a good view of the Sea of Cortez. However, when choosing one ensure that it is not located near the generators or near the place where the AC units are located. Most people like the idea of a kitchenette in the room. You can locate daily utilities such as dishes, pans, microwave, toaster, cook top and blender etc.
The Spa is perhaps the best feature of the resort. You can go in for a variety of massages such as Therapeutic Stone Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Shiatsu Massage etc. In addition there are Jacuzzis, steam rooms, and Swedish showers.
